Poppa G aka G made a phone call to his high school buddy he has not seen in many years. G was going to visit his old friend to see how he was doing with his family and work life. When Poppa G was in high school, he skipped a large portion of his classes because he didn’t enjoy reading books and studying. G realized that it was not the case later on. He just couldn’t deal with the boredom, but mainly, he didn’t know what he wanted to do and what he wanted to be after his high school education. His interest was in making money immediately than learning a skill trade or studying for his future career. RJ was a guy with Indian heritage who was like a glue in Poppa G’s circle of high school friends. And he was a very few Indian guys G has met who knew how to spell deodorant or antiperspirant. You could say that he was a popular kid to hang out within G’s high school crew. RJ was pretty much at almost every social gatherings and events for that reason. RJ and G started to click with each other in their French class. They would always joke around and laugh often in the class. While Poppa G was spending his time with P after the US Navy stunt, G would also meet up with other guys from the high school. One of them was Ho Bag who was a part of the original high school crew. All of them hung out very often in high school days, but that obviously changed after since everyone was going in different directions in adult life with different goals and aspirations. Ho Bag was a guy with Ukrainian heritage who was physically active and fit by consistently working out and playing sports throughout his life. Aside from a few other hangout spots, Ho Bag’s house was the usual hangout place for the crew throughout high school days. When you get to know someone and build some type of a relationship/friendship in high school, it is probably because you had a good time emotionally and connect with that person in most cases. Also, you might share some kind of common views of the world or philosophies and interests. After the fallout with his close high school social circle and getting out of the hospital, G had no other options but to move back with his parents for the time being. G had less than $100 to his name with about $20 – 40K debt. He had no job and it was looking very gloomy for G at the moment. He had no idea what to do and where to begin.
