It didn’t take too long for another dumb shit to happen in this location. Once Fat Princess became a senior manager sitting in the office all day, she thought she was the shit. She really didn’t do much other than eating snacks and talking to other employees in the office about things such as where she went to wax her vagina. I didn’t think she was the sharpest tool in the shed, but I really didn’t think Fat Princess could be so dang stupid. I just couldn’t understand why some of these managers wanted to have sex with her, but who am I to say and judge?

One afternoon while it was somewhat busy at work with many customers around, Fat Princess along few other managers decided to take pictures of themselves flipping a bird. Then, she uploaded these pictures of themselves throwing a finger with their company name tags at work on Facebook. I have no idea until this day who reported it, but an anonymous person reported these pictures on Facebook to the corporate HQ. There were so many employees who disliked Fat Princess for various reasons including myself. So it was damn near impossible to figure out who this anonymous person was.

A few days later, the regional VP came to my location to handle and deal with this bird situation. At this point, I wondered how much air mile points he collected just for trips to my location alone. When he arrived to my warehouse, he didn’t waste much time and went straight to chewing these managers’ asses in the GM’s office. I had to be in the office to do some trainings on the computer and I overheard Fat Princess crying and shit behind closed door. The VP was chewing her ass out but it was way too soft to my liking and standard, and she was crying a river for awhile. I wished he asked me to chew her ass out, so I could demonstrate Shit Talking 101.

The next day, there was an unexpected announcement to the warehouse. The GM made a decision to step down and relocate to another location not too far away. We were told that the GM decided to step down, but most of us knew he was demoted. I really didn’t think that the bird incident would be the straw that broke the camel’s back. If the rape and theft were not enough, there was no way he was going to be demoted for the bird incident. I was wrong about that one and the GM was on the way out. Aside from our minor friction, I still felt bad for the guy because he hired and promoted a bunch of whack jobs and they f**ked him over. Now that we were about to find ourselves with new GM, many thought maybe things were going to get better.

During this same time frame, I had a few employees including a Polish manager from NJ telling me that my new supervisor was going to study to become a nurse. So if I stayed in that place, I was going to be the next supervisor. I didn’t really care for the promotion and I highly doubted that my supervisor was going to be a nurse. Then out of nowhere, Boston George told me that I should help out my new supervisor with her job more if I wanted to get promoted. If I had to help her out even more from what I was already doing, then what was the point of her being in my department?

I told Boston George,

“I’m not from Boston and do you see my sox right here? It’s not red. Don’t come to me with some BS. You help her out.”

There was an Italian senior manager who came from New Jersey to open our location. When he decided to leave and go back to NJ, I knew there was no chance of change happening in that place. I thought maybe this guy just might call his New Jersey Sopranos boys and whack some of these employees in that place like Goodfellas style. That was not going to happen after all.

With the GM getting demoted and this Italian senior manager moving back to NJ, the warehouse was expecting two new managers to replace others who were leaving. I had no clue who and where this new GM was coming from, but I was told that a senior manager who left my location to open up another location not too far away was coming back. When I heard that news, I thought that it was a good start. It was worth my time to stay in that warehouse to see if things were really going to change. It was definitely a good sign even though I had a strong feeling that nothing was going to change.

To all my people who I used to work with, those who really know how I get down and do my thing from 5 in the morning to 11 at night, if you happen to read this, I would like you to take a break from what you are doing and play the next song and sing along with Cee Lo Green with two birds in the air before continuing with this story or your work.
